Most carpet complaints are about the install, not the product. Homes usually get stretch-in: tack strip, underpad, and real tension from a power stretcher so the floor stays flat for years. Glue-down is the right call for commercial traffic, moisture-prone basements, or anywhere rolling loads would chew up a stretched floor.

How much does carpet installation cost in Ottawa?
It depends on square footage, the carpet and underpad, stairs, and whether old flooring has to come out. We measure on site and give you a fixed price in writing. The assessment is free.
How long does it take?
A single room is usually one day. A full house is typically one to two days; stairs add half a day to a day. Subfloor repair can add time, which is why we assess before we schedule.
Do you move furniture and haul the old carpet?
Yes. We move furniture, tear out old carpet and underpad, haul debris, vacuum, and put furniture back.
Will there be a visible seam?
Rooms wider than twelve feet need a seam. We place joins off the main sightline and out of traffic, then heat-tape them so the edges pull into each other. Patterned carpet needs extra layout time so the repeat matches.
How soon can you come out?
