Stairs are the hardest carpet in the house and the most visible. We wrap treads tight, cut clean around every spindle, and finish runner edges so they look intentional.
Full wrap or runner
A full wrap covers each tread and riser wall to wall. A runner keeps the wood showing on both sides and needs clean, even edges the whole flight. We also choose waterfall or cap-and-band based on the nosing and the look you want — assessed on site, not guessed from photos.
Spindles get cut in tight at the base, not tucked and hoped for. That takes longer per step and is the difference between stairs that still look right in five years and stairs that fray at every post.

How do you handle spindles?
We cut the carpet in around each post so it reads as if the spindle grew through the floor. Tucking a rough edge against the base frays and looks unfinished.
How long does a stair install take?
Most flights are half a day to a full day depending on step count, landings, and whether spindles land on the treads. We confirm timing after the on-site measure.
Can I supply my own carpet or runner?
Yes. Bring us in before you order so we can confirm quantities, pile direction, and whether the material will take a clean cut around spindles.
How much does stair carpet cost?
Stairs are priced per step, and spindles or bullnose details take longer than a straight riser. We measure on site and give a fixed price in writing. The assessment is free.
How soon can you come out?
